Kona Picker is a free game run by one person. This page says what it keeps about you and why.

What is kept

Your email address and the display name you chose. No profile picture is kept.
A scrambled form of your password if you sign in with one. The site never sees the password itself.
If you sign in with Google or Facebook: the account id, name and email address they share, and the sign-in tokens they hand over. The tokens are stored scrambled and never used. Nothing else from those accounts.
Your picks, your time guesses and when you saved them.
A sign-in cookie so you stay signed in. There are no ads and no tracking cookies.
With each sign-in, the address your browser connects from and its browser type, kept for up to 30 days, longer while you keep using the site. The address is also held briefly to slow down abuse.

Running the game: saving your picks, scoring them, and showing the rankings.
Your display name and your picks are shown to other players once picks lock at the first pro start.
Emails about your account: confirming your address, resetting a password, telling you about a withdrawn athlete you picked.

Nothing is sold or passed to anyone else. The hosting company stores the data and the email service sends the account emails; that is all.

Email chris@chris.media from the address on your account and it is removed, picks and all, within a few days. Details on the data deletion page.
